HUE IMPERIAL CITY VIEW ONE DAY ON BIKE –  HUE CYCLING VIETNAM

Hue is one of the most peaceful city in Vietnam with un-lousy life style, more trees than people, clean roads full of shades, modest houses as well as garden houses famous for feng shui allocation, and utmost, the beautiful citadel where the king lived there in 1800s.

Hue is also pride of Vietnamese in culture preservation, the royal food style, the music of the King (which has been acknowledged by UNESCO  as world heritage), and the special architecture (making the acknowledgement of UNESCO also as world heritage).

    HUE CYCLING VIETNAM – IMPERIAL CITY ITINERARY

    Meet your guide at the hotel and have some brief on the day with notification on biking rules in Vietnam.

    Start the gear right from hotel, get across Huong river and enter the side of citadel entrance. Park the bike there and walk around one hour visiting a corner of the citadel.

    Push the bike and cycle around the big Citadel to see local life settled on the king’s land. Enjoy the vegetable gardens on the defending system, local houses with peace and the bridges over man-made canals.

    Get back to the other side of the river and start to cycle to the country side, across vast rice field, passing by some duck farming groups to reach the Thanh Toan bridge. Have lunch at a local restaurant.

    Enjoy the cool air in the covered bridge from the rice field and possibly the stories of future from a fortune teller, before cycling further to the huge rice field, to the beautiful villages. Stop at one of the house before cycling back to the city.

    Now is time for the challenge to cycle up hills to the Tu Duc Mausoleum. That’s a spectacular bike uphill looking over the river, to the eternal land of the King. Have a walking around one hour to visit the King’s place where we see the art of architecture, feng shui, the sense of eternity and other stories of oriental legends.

    Cycle back to the hotel in the late afternoon.
