VIETNAM CAMBODIA TOURS – 15 DAY ITINERARY

As arriving Hanoi airport, you will see our driver with your name on the sign board. Get on his car and take a transfer to your hotel in Hanoi. Have a free time for your own refreshment. Else, you can take a walk along streets of Old Quarters in Hanoi for the first impression of this charming city.

Being ready at lobby at 8:00 AM and a guide with a driver will come for the trip of city tour Hanoi to Hochiminh Mausoleum, Hilton Prison and temple of literature. Remember NOT to wear shorts and no-sleeve shirt because you will come to see the embalmed corpse of Hochiminh.

Enjoy the panorama view of karst islands which most people should come to the upper deck to fully admire this. The ship goes thru a fish farming village with thousands of citizens here rarely coming to the mainland even the children. The seafood lunch comes after. Have the ship anchored in a beach and make a swim in the beautiful water among white sand. Dinner on board and be free for more swimming at night, gathering at the upper deck for just get personal space in your room.

Try to have an early wake up in the morning with fresh air from your window and enjoy sunrise on the spectacular view of the green Halong Bay. Enjoy breakfast with cool breeze. After lunch, check out of the boat. Have a drive to Hanoi airport for an evening flight to Hue.

In the morning take a short drive to Forbidden Purple City to find the days of Kings in Vietnam. A walking thru the remains of relics will bring you a sketch of Vietnam culture, architecture and belief.

Drive to Thien Mu pagoda and enjoy the Zen atmosphere with Buddhism stories of this land. After all, take a boat ride down stream to hotel to see how peaceful the city is.

In the afternoon, visit some mausoleum of kings to see how they prepare for the journey after death, and some handicraft villages to see how incredible their local life is.

Get on your van and take a transfer to Hoian, stop en route at top of Hai Van pass for a great view to the Pacific. Before heading to Hoian, have a visit at Marble Mountain with some climbing up the pagoda caves for Buddhism spirit here.

After checking to hotel in Hoian, have some refreshment before taking a short walking tour to the peaceful Hoian Town.

After breakfast, jump on a bicycle and make a peaceful biking at trails at villages around Hoian town, visiting ancient terracotta village, vegetable village, and fishing village. Replace the bicycle by a car if you can’t ride. Late in the afternoon take a boat trip along Hoian river to see life along the river and spectacular view of sunset on the river.

Take a transferring to airport to take a flight to Saigon. Have a familiarization walking tour in this bustling city, to see another face of Vietnam. That’s the walking along the highlighted monuments of the city like Opera House, Town Hall, the famous Rex Center, the Post Office and Saigon Central Cathedral.

Visit the Reunification Palace, the former Southern Vietnam President palace, and War Remnant Museum describing the histories of Vietnam along the wars.

The 90 minute drive will take you to Cuchi tunnel.  It is a simple answer on what is guerrilla war techniques as visiting fighting bulkers, the entrances, the living spaces, the hospitals, meeting rooms and schools of the Cuchi Tunnel with underground system of over 200km long.

Continue the boat trip for arriving another local house where we enjoy the tropical fruits an dlocal folk music. Before lunch, get relaxed on a sampan thru small canals deep into Mekong delta.

The final stop of the boat trip is a local market where people buy and sell things for their daily life.

Take a drive further Mekong Delta to Cantho where we stay overnight there.

Wake up early and jump on a boat to have a boating to the world famed floating market of almighty Mekong delta.

Have car drive to Chau Doc, visit a stork sanctuary on the road. Check in Chau Doc, and take another boat trip to the floating fish farming village to catch the daily life and children eyes at floating houses.

Get back to van on time for a drive to your hotel where you can sit down on the top of the world, enjoying the great view to the endless rice farm among sunset.

Have breakfast, you take a speedboat to Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel to freshen up, to be ready for the very new feeling of Vietnam Cambodia Tours.

Visit the Royal Palace, built in 1866 by King Norodom and the Silver Pagoda with a floor of over 5,000 silver tiles. You can then opt to explore the shops and boutiques in Street 178 area or visit the small hill within the city, Wat Phnom and learn how the city got its name.

Transfer to the domestic airport for the flight Phnom Penh – Siem Reap. Arriving at Siem Reap Airport, our guide will meet and we start the discovery of the ancient temples and ruins that are found next to Roluos Town: Preah Ko, Ba Kong and Lo Lei which mark the beginning of the Khmer Classical Arts.

In late afternoon, we’ll travel to Phnom Bakheng to climb to the hilltop temple for the stunning sunset view over Angkor Wat and the countryside of Siem Reap

Embrace your inner explorer as you discover the ancient ruins of Beng Melea, a forgotten and lost jungle temple on the outskirts of the Angkor Complex. It’s about a 2 hour drive to reach the Beng Melea which some say may have been a prototype for the centerpiece of the empire – Angkor Wat.  The actual history of the temple remains a mystery, although it is thought to have been built in the 12th century. Completely overgrown by jungle, the temple has an eerie, abandoned feel. There are fantastic photo opportunities of trees sprouting out of the towers, walls covered in thick green moss and tree roots entwined in the crumbling structure. No restoration work has been carried out and some parts of the temple are inaccessible, however, a large boardwalk with viewing platforms wraps around the temple.

Breakfast at the hotel. Have free time then take a transferring to Siem Reap Airport for your departure flight. If your international flight is from Phnom Penh then a flight to Phnom Penh is done before the connected flight to home. Home safe arrival. End the exploration of  Vietnam Cambodia Tours.
