Vietnam discovery bicycle tours – Mangrove forest

Take a transferring from your hotel and make a drive to Vam Sat mangrove forest, a part of Can Gio Biosphere Reserve.

As arriving our starting point, we take out bikes and make it fit to our body. Start cycling thru some part of mangrove forest, along some countryside view of Saigon city.

At some turning point we cycle pass by some rice farms. Depend on the time of the year, we will see green or yellow rice farm. A little further cycling will take us to the salt pans. In some sunshine day, the pink color of the pans make photos fantastic. We can stop and see local people collect salt if they are there.

After passing the gate of forest, we absolutely cycle in the shade of mangrove trees. Enjoy the fresh air and the nature sound of the forest.

Stop at a bridge, and we make some little walk along small trails by canals, into a forest watchtower. Climbing up the steps and we will have magnificent scene of the forest with a lot of birds.

Further cycling will take us to the center camp of the forest. Stop and have a great lunch with local food. Some fun time on the boat across some canals full of crocodiles is also special experience with wild animals.

After lunch, have a some trekking around 15km into thick forest of mangroves. After all, jump on the van and take a transferring back to Saigon. End one of the best Vietnam discovery bicycle tours at your hotel.
