MYSON SANCTUARY SITE THE LEFT OF A LOST KINGDOM
MySon sanctuary is something left from a holy center of Champa Kingdom which lasts from 2nd to 14th century in the land which is Central Vietnam now aday. The big system of temples and shrines in a small valley surrounded by high ranges of mountains make it unknown since the kingdom collapsed until the discovery of a French hiker in 20th century. The temples and shrines are dedicated to Siva’s Gods by the Champa Kings. The story is the same to Angkor Watt but this is in Vietnam and the temples and shrines are made by bricks, and the glue to make them together is still a secret to today scientists.
The trip to MySon sanctuary is to see only a small part of the complex discovered as most of them has been destroyed by the bombs at war time. However, the remains in ruins are still able to tell a big story of a big Kingdom that once lasted.
